AV Rating by Martindale-Hubbell

AV-Rated-by-Martindale-Hubbell

Martindale-Hubbell recognizes Jonathan Ostroff as an AV® rated attorney, the highest such rating available to any individual lawyer. The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings system is based on the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the Judiciary, including both those who are rated and those who are not. Martindale-Hubbell representatives conduct personal interviews to discuss lawyers under review with other members of the Bar. A compilation of these opinions from various sources is necessary to form a consensus, and lawyers under review are sometimes asked to provide professional references to assist with the process. In addition, confidential questionnaires are sent to lawyers and judges in the same geographic location and/or area of practice as the lawyer being rated.

Super Lawyers

Super Lawyers 2011 and 2012Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. The Super Lawyers selection process involves three basic steps: creation of the candidate pool; evaluation of candidates by the research department; and peer evaluation by practice area. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. The final published list represents no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state. Our Bus Safety Lawyers were selected for inclusion in 2011 and 2012.

Avvo’s coveted Client Choice Award

clientchoiceAvvo is an attorney evaluation rating system that uses a mathematical model based on an attorney’s years in practice, professional achievements and recognition by others involved in the legal industry such as attorneys and judges. The levels range from 1.0 to 10.0 with a 10 rating as superb. Jon Ostroff is proud of the fact that he has achieved the highest possible Avvo rating of “superb 10 of 10”. In addition, he is winner of the 2013 ‘The Client Choice Award’, which reflects the opinion an attorney’s clients have of their attorney since it is contingent upon the clients’ experiences with the attorney and their overall satisfaction with the work performed.
